A quality roof installation isn’t an accident. It’s a well-organized and controlled process. The following 10 steps are used at Done Right Roofing to ensure that your home gets the quality roof it deserves:
1. Estimate
We don’t waste your time. We are the only roofing company in Calgary that can send you an estimate by email. Using sophisticated technology we developed, we use aerial photos of your roof to determine the measurements. If you’re not sure that you need a roof and would like an on-site inspection, we can also schedule a consultation at a convenient time for you.
2. Service Contract
Many homeowners don’t realize an estimate is not a contract. We spell everything out in a written service contract so you know exactly what you are getting. We cover the 6 Roofing Elements in our service contract, but once in a while something totally unexpected will be encountered. Don’t worry. We do not add extra work and increase the price unless you amend the service contract yourself. Once you’ve chosen Done Right as your contractor, you will sign and send in your service contract.
3. Delivery of Materials
Done Right Roofing doesn’t deliver the materials; our suppliers do. However, we do call you 24 hours before the delivery to make sure your house is accessible for the delivery truck, and to keep you updated on what’s happening. After all, part of receiving quality service is just being informed.
4. Installation Date
Roofing is a highly weather dependent industry, so we can never guarantee an installation date. However, we never overbook our roofs, so it is rare that the weather alters the installation date by more than a week. In any case, we will call you if weather has affected your installation date, and we will call again the night before we come.
5. Roof Installation
Our foreman will knock on your door as soon as the crew arrives. If you’re not home, that’s okay, we know what to do! There are many specific actions that we take to guarantee you a quality roof installation, and you can learn about those things under The Done Right Systems.
6. Inspection
No Done Right Roof is complete until it has passed final inspection. Done Right employees receive a bonus every time a roof passes the Quality Inspection the first time, so everyone on your roof has a lot invested in doing it right. Inspections are done the day the roof is completed.
7. Payment
Once your roof is finished, it’s time to send in payment. If you are not satisfied with the work in any way, then you can rely on our detailed guarantee, given in writing, to resolve any problems to your satisfaction.
8. Done Right Roofing Guarantee
Done Right Roofing has been built on accountability. In addition to the shingle manufacturer’s warranty, your roof comes with the Done Right Roofing Guarantee. This written guarantee gives you a 10-year installation warranty backed by a $1,000 Quality Assurance Rebate. Once payment is received we will send you both the shingle warranty and the Done Right Roofing Guarantee for your records.
9. Warranty Calls
No one is perfect 100% of the time, so we’ll have to settle for being perfect 97.4% of the time. If you end up falling into that 2.6% of people that call us back to a job for some minor reason, be assured that our service is governed by our guarantee, which promises that we will respond to all emergency calls in 24 hours and be onsite to check out the problem ASAP.
10. Customer Feedback Form
